Q: Can this fit garden hoses?

A: The brass fittings are compatible with any standard 3/4” garden hoses. 

Q: What is the size and thread pattern of the inlet on the housing? 

A: The thread of the inlet is 1/2" NPT. If you have a normal size 3/4" pressure reg, you may first have an adapter(3/4" - 1/2").
