Received my SJ cordless shovel on Feb 10, 2023. Charged it overnight and put it to work this morning shoveling 4-6" of snow from my front walk. Worked like a dream. I live in northern Maine next to the Canadian border so we get a lot of snow. What surprised me the most was that the shovel easily went through impacted snow that he town's street plow stacked up in front of my walk. I then tacked the snow plowed up in from of my driveway and the shovel disbursed that quickly. I have a drive that is almost 90' so I started shoveling a path down it. I wanted to see how powerful the shovel was, so I started pushing the shovel down the drive without stopping, putting a heavy load on it. I went about 50 feet and stopped. No problem. I used it to clear snow from around my car and the driver's side of my Hummer H3t. Again, no problem. I then started shoveling about 20' to my garage, and the shovel started shutting off. Nothing serious, just the battery needing recharged. Really a powerful machine. I like mine.
Assembly of the handle was strangely difficult but the final product was amazing. Granted, the deeper the snow, the more effort it takes. Still, it is years better than just a shovel. I am one happy fella.
Very easy to use I do think it would be great if a person could adjust the length of the handlel to make it shorter for shorter people. My wife finds it a little too longer for her or maybe it is her way of getting out of using it lol
It's pretty amazing for light snow. If you are looking for an easier snow removal. I wanted to try it and it meets my needs to clear the front walk and side of the house, since I have a plow driver that does the large driveway. Happy with the product.
I have the larger snow joe corded and it was a pain dragging a 100 ft cord. I wanted something I could pick up and go. I put it together myself. No problem.
