We used to raise laying hens 10 years ago, then my job put me on the road and we had to give away our little flock.
We removed the chicken wire around our 1/2 acre chicken yard, but left the T-posts and the larger corner and main posts. I've been mowing and trimming around those darn things for years.
This puller arrived today and I popped 30 something posts out in no time. I've got one stubborn one left, but I'm going to wait for after a good rain. As others have said, you may need a wider support board under the foot of the tool in soft ground - say maybe 1/2" plywood (or a 2x4) platform. I didn't have any trouble today since has been a couple of days since a rain.
I spent less than a minute and a half a post and someone in better shape could probably get each out in less than 30 seconds. All posts came out as straight as they went in and can be reused.
I am a 66 year old woman and this is easy to use. Saved me a lot of stress and effort. I recommend it for those who are doubting themselves if they can even use it.
Always had to waste entire weekends wiggling out T-Posts around my property whenever I need to remove them. Used this recently to remove 6 T-Posts only taking 6 minutes total which is 1 minute each. I could've saved so much time if I bought this earlier.
Get this instead of wasting time pulling T-Posts by hand or using a tractor and a pick pole.
Some of the T-stakes at our place are difficult to remove once they've served their purpose. No matter how hard I pulled, no movement from the stakes. This little tool pops them right out! Easy to use, with a compact size for storing out of the way until next time it's needed
