Question: What is the diameter of the punched hole?

Answer: The diameter is 2 to 1/8".

Question: Having a hard time removing the depth rings. What can I do?

Answer: The ring usually can be removed by hand, but if it's really stuck, you can use a small tap hammer to gently tap each side until it comes loose and slides down. Normally, tap at say the 12 o'clock position and then on the opposite side (6 o'clock position).
