I needed to replace the seals on my Kubota hydraulic bucket lift cylinders. Every video I watched described the difficulty of installing the inner seals as they needed to be compressed to fit snugly into the seal groove. One of the videos recommended and provided a link to this tool on Amazon. So glad I purchased it as it made the seal installation simple and straightforward. It may not be a tool that I use that often, but even if I only use it once, it was well worth the purchase.

I had two hydraulic cylinders to rebuild on my excavator, which would've cost me about $1000 if I took them to a shop. With these tools the cylinders took me about an hour apiece to rebuild and the tools worked perfect for getting the interior seals in place. I like tools that pay for themselves the first time you use them.

If you have ever replaced the internal piston seal on a hydraulic cylinder, you know what an absolute nightmare that can be. Especially on the smaller cylinders. The last one I did was on a small cylinder off a compact John Deere loader. My helper and I were just about to the point of taking it to a hydraulic shop and paying someone just to install that stupid little seal when I finally got it in. I have a few more cylinder jobs lined up and look forward to using the heck out of these.This tool makes it super easy! I tested it on an old seal I had laying around and it is awesome. I wish I had known about and owned one of these a bunch or years ago!

Pretty simple tool but makes it very easy to install a seal if you don't want to hassle with trying to work a seal into place.

Very simple construction but effective. Put seal in it 10 seconds with no problem. Saved heaps of time and sore fingers.
