Q: What is the size of the female end?
A: The size is the same for both ends. If it’s the 1/4" drive socket, it’s 1/4" on both ends. Same as the other sizes.
Q: Can you just pull off the socket or do you need another tool to remove the socket?
A: No, these just pop on and off. There is a spring loaded ball at the end of the bar that holds the sockets on if you line up with the hole in the socket. A quick tug will remove the socket.
