After replacing my wall-mounted hose reel, I realized that the water inlet to the reel was on the same level as the water copper line, making it really hard to connect the hose. Rather than move the reel up or down, I searched online for a 90° elbow, and this was the most reasonable choice. As you can see in the photo, this was the perfect solution for me. It doesn't get any better than this!
Here is the elbow installed in the service compartment in my class A. I leave it attached to the city water inlet and connect the fresh water hose to the elbow when hooking up. All brass construction, and a hefty feel, make for a better, faster, and easier water connection than trying to connect to the horizontal connection on the service bay. Thumb tabs make connecting your fresh water hose easier than the grooved fitting on the RV connection. Since the freshwater hose exits the service bay directly downward, there is minimal stress on the RV connection and plumbing, which should lengthen the life of the RV city water connection. I can't imagine hooking up without this accessory.
This elbow is a small accessory for all RVs, but an important one. It solves the pressure on the hose when connecting the RV to city water. It sure makes it simple and clean in the connection center. The quality is also outstanding! I recommend it!
This is worth every penny. It allows you to hook up a drinking water hose to your RV from a water spigot. The 90-degree angle takes the stress off of the hose connection and avoids the inevitable messy leaking if the hose is connected without it.
