One of my favorite new grill items!

I love to grill outdoors and this is something I have always wanted. Previously, I have always had a bowl with a brush. The brush inevitably falls out onto the counter and makes a mess. Or I forget the brush and have to make another trip inside to get it. Finally, I hate that any bug or fly or bee can access my sauce with the open nature of a bowl.
This solves all those problems.

Now, I put my sauce in and with the lid in place I don't have to worry about dust, dirt or bugs getting in there if I'm not paying much attention. This little pitcher sits by the grill and when ribs, wings or whatever are ready; it's ready. I love it. The brush bristles touch the bottom of the pitcher so you can get that last little bit of sauce on the bottom.

Will a brush and cup of butter work to baste? Yes. Is this just somehow much better? YES! I keep this on the back of the stove while cooking and put butter and herbs in for basting veggies and meat. I have also used it to make balsamic and other glazes. It is so easy to clean and looks nice enough to stay out when not in use.
