      Amazing Cleaning Tool

Worked great for clearing out a grease build-up in a 4-inch drain. My smaller bits were just poking holes and making a temporary solution. 3 weeks later I'd be backed up. This knocked out chunks of grease!

      Impressed!

I was not sure whether the 3" cutter would go smoothly down by 4" main or that it could be handled by my K400 Rigid with 3/8 IW cable. Fortunately, yes on all counts. Using K400 Rigid, the 3" cutter went in very easily. When it got to the spot where the roots were, it stopped going in. I backed it up, afraid the cutter was stuck, but it was not. After going back and forth a bit, I tried letting it just work, with K400 rotating it, and it automatically went in a fraction of an inch per second, until it got past where the roots were. Then the cutter went in fast again. Afterward, I could back it out easily. It looks like the 3" cutter did not have leftover roots from the 2" spiral cutter. Very useful and nice tool. Next time, I will just let it work myself from the beginning when it hits roots.

      Worked Great

I bought this to clear a root right at the exit of my house line that goes into the main line. I had a cleanout put in outside but wouldn't you know it the roots still figured out how to get into the exact spot where the 2 intersect. I have a floor clean out in my basement floor so I put this on my K-400 ran it down and had to manually with my hand do the 90-degree bend. After getting it started and working the root for about 15 minutes it finally broke free. A word to the wise. If you are going to use this with a K-400 make sure you drag the line back and forth until you break the root cuz once it catches it really gets a grip and you don't want it twisting your line or breaking anything.
