Q: Do I have to drill this to my hood?

A: No, there is no drilling needed.


Q: How to install this?

A: 

  1. Remove the holes that hold the stock latches.
  2. Use the provided gaskets to protect the hood finish.
  3. Remove the locking bolts to separate the pieces, which allows access to the bolt at the bottom for installation. Then put the pieces back together.
  4. The upper piece is as simple as taking the 2 bolts out and installing the new piece with its bolts. Positioning is adjustable for proper fitment.

Easy to Install

Super sturdy, zero hood flutter now. Very easy to install. Flex head ratcheting box end wrench is highly recommended for installing the lower latch portion. Remove the push pins in the top of the grill and you can actually pull it out far enough to hold the nuts from the front with the wrench while you spin the key on the outside to tighten. Super fast 20 minute install start to finish for both sides.
