This tool answers a common problem when installing flooring -- how to deal with sections close to the wall. I've installed hardwood without it and had lots of trouble with other tools that require a hammer and blunt force. This works easily and is very versatile. Getting the wood to snug up tightly is a breeze now. I'm really glad I bought it and should have done so years ago. I've had no issues with quality at all. It's built out of heavy welded steel so I expect it to last and last. Furthermore, I've thought of other, non-flooring-related uses as well but I won't get into those here. Suffice it to say that this is a well built tool that everyone who plans to install hardwood or anything similar, should have. Order with confidence.
Boy did this come in handy for tight and awkward spaces while laying laminate floors
It's easy to use and was essential in pushing pieces together on the ends as well as the last rows. Seems to be made well.
I bought this tool for some hardwood flooring I'm installing at my personal residence. It's feels sturdy and was adequate for my needs.
