Old steel strip on my door was bent. This kit solved it without needing a service call. Lightweight parts made it easier on the door springs.
Rubber was folded in the box but leaving it out in the sun softened it. Installed two single garage doors. No more light gaps and the floor stays dry.
I installed it myself in 30 minutes on a wood door. Pre-drilled the aluminum and used longer wood screws. Definitely a two-person job though.
Had to trim the second metal bar to fit. I used clear packing tape to hold it while drilling. Instructions were helpful and the result looks clean.
The fit was tight on my wood doors. I centered the channel closer to the front and it worked better that way.
