Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Why couldn't I get it straight?

A. This is caused by the bending of the tube. Make sure that the line is straight when you start flaring. Even a small bend will cause the flare to be incorrect.

Q. Can this be used on transmission lines as well?

A. Of course it depends on the size of the lines, but yes. As long as they are 1/2 or smaller.

Harry V,
Great Tool

Had to make a couple of brake lines. The double flare looks almost as good as the factory one. I used copper nickel tubing which got scored by the teeth in the flaring tool.
