Heavy Duty Caliper Piston Spreader!

Compressing the 4-piston calipers on a Toyota truck can be a real pain, and they often get stuck and won't go in. However, with this tool, it was an absolute breeze. I put it in and started cranking, and it reset them smoothly and seamlessly. This is also one of the beefiest brake tools I have. It is SOLID. Highly recommend it.Kasey

Excellent

As a professional automotive technician I am always looking for quality tools at reasonable prices. A tool like this is not something I use everyday so I'm not interested in purchasing an item for 3 times the price. I usually use a large set of channel lock pliers to press caliper pistons back but there are times when a tool like this is better suited. This tool is very heavy duty and works smoothly to press pistons back, especially on dual piston calipers as you can press both evenly using an old brake pad as a bridge. This tool is heavy and well made and the threads are very smooth operating. This is very high quality at a reasonable price and worthy of 5 stars.

Wow

Replacing brake pads is a hassle. It's not hard, but it is a dirty pain. This tool makes it a little easier. To get the new, thicker pads in, you need to push the pistons back to make room. This is a nice tool to do that part of the work.I've been able to push the pistons in by hand and have used blocks of wood and clamps. I was tired of the make shift solutions and found this tool. Is this a necessity to do the job? No. Does it make it a lot easier and more controllable, yes! This is a heavy duty tool. It is solid. This will be passed down through the generations if just a little care is given to it.

A must have for brake maintenance

It feels solid and sturdy, like it's built to last. The universal compatibility means I don't have to worry about whether it'll work with different caliper types – it's got you covered. Using the tool is straightforward. The piston compression process is a easy now, and I no longer struggle with awkward angles or the risk of damaging parts. The grip on the tool is comfortable, and the mechanism is smooth, making it easy to apply the necessary pressure without straining my hands.

Saved a lot of time

The next time you replace your brake pads you'll be thankful to have this brake caliper tool on hand. Heavy duty caliper tool saves a good bit of time and a lot of effort when it comes to compressing the calipers to install them around the new brake pads. This caliper tool is heavy duty and works on cars, trucks, ATVs, UTVs, and SxS's. The center screw bar and T-Bar make for quick work on the difficult task of compressing the brake calipers. This tool is also built to last.

Heavy Duty

This tool seems to be very well made and is a heavy tool. The offset caliper compression “arms” allows for calipers that do not have an opening to be compressed. I have my trusty auto parts store caliper compressor that has served me well. The issue is with these newer cars and the one piece calipers. They require something offset to allow for complete piston compression. This tool is perfect for anyone that works on cars and trucks.
